Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how GA Parcel (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and stores information when you use the Service.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — email, password hash, display name, plan/trial timestamps, Terms acceptance version and time.
- Session data — signed-in session tokens (HttpOnly cookies) and related security metadata.
- Workspace data — Tracker notes, preferences, personal-fit settings, and other content you save under your client profile.
- Technical logs — approximate IP (for rate limiting), user agent, and operational logs needed to run and secure the Service.
- Email delivery — messages we send (welcome, verification, password reset) may be relayed through a transactional provider you configure, or stored in a local outbox when no provider is set.
2. How we use information
We use data to operate your account, authenticate you, deliver product email, enforce rate limits, provide backups of account workspace files, improve reliability, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Storage & backups
Account and Tracker data are stored as files under the Service’s client_data directory on the host that runs the dashboard. Formal zip backups of that directory are created on a schedule (and may run at startup) and retained for a limited number of days as configured by the operator.
4. Sharing
We share data only with processors needed to run the Service (for example email or payment providers when configured), or when required by law. County and map data you view comes from public or licensed sources and is not “your” personal data in that form.
5. Cookies
We use an HttpOnly session cookie for signed-in access (SameSite=Lax; Secure when served over HTTPS). We do not use third-party advertising cookies in the core desk.
6. Retention
We keep account and workspace data while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting the operator; backups may retain copies until they age out under the backup retention window.
7. Security
Passwords are stored with salted PBKDF2 hashes. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; use a strong unique password and confirm your email.
8. Children
The Service is intended for adults engaged in property operations, not for children under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy; the version date above will change when we do. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
10. Contact
Privacy questions: use the contact channel published with your subscription or operator desk.
Accepted together with the Terms of Use when you create an account (Terms version 2026-09-14).
